Brooklyn, NY - June 10th, 2004 - About Glamour, Inc. presents a wearable art group exhibition, "Tangerie Lingerie Came From Hell" by Hirohisa & Lewis, Delihell, Ballett & Miyagi, as a part of the About Glamour Gallery Summer Project #1. While each artist is specialized in a different field, they came together to create in collaboration a never-seen-before space @ About Glamour Gallery.

Hirohisa of "Hirohisa & Lewis" creates elegant, yet punkish one-of-a-kind, made-to-order hats for men & women with his unique hat molds. Ballett is a designer who has 4 years of experience working as a pattern maker for a prestigious brand which exhibits in Paris Collection every year. By participating in these major fashion collections, her creativity has made the leap to conceive her own brand, Ballett. Miyagi, a graduate of FIT, has won several major fashion design contests, specializing in menfs clothing. The outfits he designs, patterns and sews are extremely intricate, beautifully sewn and a work of a true professional. Delihell, who also works in the fashion field has his own brand and will be exhibiting his artwork this time.

Even though they are experts in different fields, they are all certain about what they want to exhibit at this show. They believe that there is no "middle ground" in fashion/art. All of the artwork including clothing and accessories can either be boiled down to "cool" or "not cool". They are positive that their works are "cool". If the viewers do not agree, what would do they say? They will probably say, "That's all right. It only means they're the ones who aren't cool".

Artists and designers often question themselves if they can ever be as successful as they wish to be, and sometimes they even lose their self-confidence. These 4 artists, however, believe in themselves and are on the highway of success. May the viewers remember the importance of self confidence and self-love by visiting their show.

The press/invitation only reception will be held on June 24th from 7pm to 11pm. And, the opening 25th from 7pm to 11pm at About Glamour Gallery.
