About Glamour is a unique multi-retail space, which encompasses a select shop & gallery. Our mission is to provide a platform in which emerging creativities from all over the world to exhibit and promote their work whether that entails fashion, art, music or design.

Internship at About Glamour (Gallery Section - AG Gallery)
We are currently accepting applications for Spring 2007 Internships at our gallery section (AG Gallery). AG Gallery interns learn all aspects of commercial gallery management: gallery administration, opening reception coordination, special event coordination, art handling and installation. Responsibilities range from organizing general gallery management to helping install exhibitions. An internship at AG Gallery provides invaluable exposure to the contemporary art world for those who are considering a future in the visual arts as an artist, curator, administrator or collector. Interns work closely with our curator who rely on and greatly appreciate intern's contributions to the daily functioning of the gallery.

Interns are expected to work not only in the gallery section but also in our other business management: public relation, promotional assistance, graphic design assistance, internet research, gallery research, etc... Through complementing the work of the stuff, the program offers interns the opportunity to learn the day-to-day workings of a commercial gallery as well as to undertake creative long-term projects in the multi-retail space. These projects allow interns to take advantage of the various resources available at About Glamour and to foster a sense of personal involvement through completing a project with depth and scope.

Internship hours are scheduled on a per semester basis, and/or for special projects or events. 1 - 3 days a week. All internships are unpaid.
